peach cobbler - yum!

i've been craving peach cobbler for a few days now, so today i made some. it was and still is very yummy! i found the recipe here.

my kids LOVE cupcakes! so i try to make them cupcakes for their birthdays and any other occasions, like today. there really wasn't any reason, other than that i wanted to bake some cupcakes. i used betty crocker's lemon cake mix with lemon frosting, both staples in our household:

so far i've only made them with store-bought cake mixes, but my goal is to start creating my own cupcakes from scratch. we'll see when i finally get to that point, but until then, i will continue baking the way i know best, including baking cakes, and i'll post pictures of all my creations here, so you can be the judge!
